~random October snowstorms::so not “normal” for where we live?!~

~the little’s first thrill of seeing snow regardless of it being “normal” or not~

~snow man and snow horse building~

~appreciating the warmth of the wood stove~

~appreciating the ability to cook on our wood stove when we lost power~

~wondering if this is a sign of how this winter is going to be~

~thirty plus pounds of sweet potatoes~

~9 quarts of applesauce::made by Nana and Kayla~

~a bucket of beets…waiting~

~rollerskates…friends…fun~

~pumpkin cranberry pancakes~

~carving pumpkins~

~a determined little boy set on carving the smallest jack o lantern ever~

~mugs of hot apple cider~

We did. The kids loved it. I loved them being outside and enjoying the crazy snow…minus the hour long snowsuits on/off shinanigans; repeat!

I am wondering…a lot of snow…like A LOT of snow? Hmmmm…I think we better stock up some more wood soon. Should be interesting.

He was proud. He is showing us so often lately…that when he sets his mind to something…a.) he's going to do it no matter what we say….and b.) he'll see his project/vision through to the end. How fun it is to see little sparks of who these little people are unfold before us!

We kept telling him that he couldn't carve it, partially because it was so late more so then thinking it couldn't be done. He insisted and it turned out perfect though. It is really cute.
